Day 2 - Affirming and Accepting who You are! - Watch the video + please read below!

Welcome to Day 2 of the YOU ARE WORTH IT! - Challenge

Yesterday, we faced focused on reflecting upon your strengths and positive aspects..

Today we’re going to reflect on and affirm who you are. You don’t need to be someone else, you need to love who you already are and love even more of you...your hidden power...

Reflection:

Most people have a picture in their heads of who they think they should be. I should be smarter. Better looking. Funnier. Better with kids. Nicer, more loving, more easy-going.

These ideas have been enforced from a young age by parents, teachers, and even friends. It's a conditioning because we grow up being immediately compared to others the moment we take our first breath into our bodies. We are automatically being compared with others at school, at home and pretty much all social environments during childhood that provides a platform to engrave the need of comparing ourselves with others, which engraves into the mind and we cannot help but keep doing that. We continue to attempt to measure up to the expectations to be the best,  to do the best to look the best and this evokes the feeling of not being enough. Of not knowing enough. Of not being worthy enough...and self-doubt kicks in and the ground starts to shake underneath our feet. If we let it. Are you with me? 

This has to stop today. TODAY it’s time to affirm and accept who you are – NOT who you should be. Yes or Yes? 

Heath L. Buckmaster said: “Often, it’s not about becoming a new person, but becoming the person you were meant to be, and already are, but don’t know how to be.”

Dalai Lama XIV said: “We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.”

It’s time to make peace with yourself. To affirm and accept who you are. To put aside ideas of who you should be and embrace who you already are. You are enough. 

Action:

Today, take 10 minutes to say these affirmations out loud and repeatedly, until you actually believe them. 

> I have everything I need within myself.

> I have much to celebrate about myself and my life.

> I choose to stop apologizing for being me.

> I love the person that I am.

> I am enough. 

> I give myself the permission to love myself. 

> I accept myself unconditionally.

> The only approval I’ll ever need is mine.

> I Accept others as they are and the only person I allow to compare myself is myself. 

> I thrive to be better person than yesterday or a moment ago.

> I stand my ground. 

> I love myself with all my flaws. 

> I am worthy of love. I am loved. 

> I believe in myself and my strengths to go for my dreams.

The more you affirm and accept yourself, the most your self-esteem will increase.

Okay, remember to spend 10 minutes on the affirmations! No cutting out early! This will shift your vibrational frequency and bring you to the next level of self-esteem.
